This is why there are precise distances to respect when drilling a well in an agricultural area.<\/p>\n<p>The well must be more than 30 meters (100 feet) from any:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Animal breeding facility<\/li>\n<li>Animal waste storage facility<\/li>\n<li>Pasture (or exercise yard)<\/li>\n<li>Composting area<\/li>\n<li>Wastewater treatment center<\/li>\n<li>Plot (field, meadow, vineyard, orchard, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note that when drilling on your farmland, you&#8217;ll have to take into account future development projects, such as the expansion of your facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Since farms have greater water needs than residences, including the need to not run out of water, 8-inch pipes (instead of 6-inch) are recommended to pump the water.
