Well-X-Trol pressure tanks are designed to last! Since their market introduction in 1963, Well-X-Trol pressure tanks are recognized worldwide for their reliability. They are manufactured with high quality steel, a polypropylene liner and a rubber diaphragm (butyl) the thickest in the industry. Moreover, they are now painted with high-resistance paint for extra durability.
Brief history of Aermotor
The Aermotor company is one of the oldest pump companies in the world. It was established in 1888 in Chicago by Mr. Laverne Noyes. At the time, pumps were activated by wind mills.
In 1930, Aermotor started offering pumps equipped with an electric motor and, in 1953, they introduced the first submersible pump with an electric motor. It was the famous "G" series.
Since their inception, Aermotor continues to innovate in the field of pumps. The 'A' series, with its improved performance in more abrasive conditions, made its debut in 1992 and continues to be among the best pumps in the world!
Pentair acquired the company Wicor (who owned Aermotor) in 2004.
Brief history of Amtrol (manufacturer of Well-X-Trol pressure tanks)
The AMTROL company was founded in 1946 with the premise that innovation, quality and service will be rewarded by loyalty and support of customers.
In 1954, they revolutionized the industry when they introduced the Extrol, the world’s first expansion tank with pre-pressurized diaphragm.
Since then, Amtrol has been the world leader in the design and operation of vital mechanical systems that stores water.
Today, the same spirit of innovation is part of every tank manufactured by Amtrol. Through the years they have continuously increased their strict quality standards to always be leaders in an industry where technological advances are rapidly increasing and to help them achieve the ISO 9001 certification.
